So with the announcement of Julie and Frank merch, it reminds me how I've been on the hunt for more dolls to modify into the Welcome Home characters!

It is insanely hard to find plus size male dolls that aren't a bajillion dollars and are specialty collector dolls. There's one Hagrid doll that I can use for Barnaby and thankfully I can get it second hand, it's just wild that out of all the dolls out there (other than the Jack Black action figure for the minecraft movie and a Maui from Moana doll), there aren't many plus size male dolls. I know that mattel is slowly getting on that with the Barbie main line with different body types, but still! Plus dying the Hagrid doll's skin is going to be a learning experience for sure.

Other than that, Frank and Eddie would most likely be Monster High or Ever After High dolls, so they can be taller than Wally and Julie and have the proper head size(debating on Manny Taur for Eddie but we'll see. EDIT: Found some Bratz boyz that would work great for them). For Sally, there are soooooo many possibilities. She could be any doll, really (there's Glo-up girl dolls that'd work well). Howdy may be a challenge, but hopefully not as hard as a hunt for a doll for Barnaby. My brain is like, Howdy is like the Man in the Big Yellow Hat xD Then for Poppy, I'm thinking either a My First Barbie or an ILY doll, because the MFB is a very tall doll, and ILYs are a 12" tall like most fashion dolls, but their head size would match the cave club dolls of Wally and Julie better.

One day I'm gonna mod them all and build a doll house and it's gonna be fun~

But for now, it's a slow journey lol

i actually loved A Minecraft Movie!!! 💕 it was fun, cute, and silly! i think the ways they incorporated the gameplay into it was really cool and i think the animation and designs of the minecraft world were great! i did think it was gonna be good but it was better than i thought it would be tbh. ngl, i was never fully onboard the hate train that was going on for the movie, i always assumed it was gonna just be a goofy movie and i love that sort of thing, plus it's what i would expect from a minecraft movie, so i never understood why ppl were so against it. (i think some ppl are/were taking it too seriously tbh lol.) as a longtime minecraft fan, i had a lot of fun watching it! also, there were some kids at the showing i was at and hearing their joy at the movie made it even better; it makes me really happy that there's still kids nowadays who are enjoying this great game like i did as a kid (and still do as an adult) and that they are so happy to see it as a movie. 🥺🥰 so yeah, i really can't hate or dislike it in anyway.

- cinnamon has a jersey accent plus some speech difficulties, so he doesn't talk much. and when he does, he stutters a lot and/or mispronounces some words. admittedly, at first eclipse didn't really care one way or another, but when he heard cinnamon start saying his (clipse) name as "Ecwipse" or "Cwipse"... It makes Eclipse fluster and stop what he's doing for a moment.

(to be clear I also have a Jersey accent + speech difficulties irl, and I like incorporating parts of myself into my sonas cuz theyre me. So I'm not like, trying to infantilise myself its just how I talk lol)

- Whenever Eclipse has had a stressful shift, and Cinnamon isn't busy, he'll sometimes call Cinna over to help himself calm down. Occasionally they'll cuddle, but Eclipse isn't the most cuddly person in the world.

- Cinnamon sometimes gets to pick movies for movie night, and its usually either horror or cheesy romance. Sometimes its stuff like Barbie or MLP.

- Eclipse likes playing video games with Cinnamon. Usually Minecraft, but really any game so long as they get to spend time together. It doesn't even have to be the same game, that's parallel play for ya baby!!

His particular brand or reality bending looks like comic book pages and the Spiderverse movies.

They figured out you can placebo a reality anchor because of him.

He likes use his powers to pull stuff on the researchers. Nothing too harmful most of the time just stuff a 1st grader would come up with.

Both:

Camron essentially “adopted” Cactusman. He did a lil sneaking around and found Cactusman doing stuff and just started following him around. Apparently Cactusman doesn’t mind because now they’re essentially brothers.

Cactusman is now Camron’s babysitter when they’re not doing any testing on him.

They watch Minecraft videos together.

Camron has developed a slight Scottish accent lol.

I've loved pokemon since I was like 8! I was both into collecting the cards and the anime. Only gaming console I had was my DS and I wasn't allowed "boy" games. :') Ever since then, Eevee and Leafeon have been my favorites. I am filled with a lot of pain, neverending honestly. If I'm being honest, I didn't even mention here, but in April I tried to commit suicide twice. One I was close to doing, but my fiancée ran to me and stopped me. The other was the day before we were about to move, and I slit down my wrist. Thankfully I cut off circulation and applied pressure, but my fiancée also saved me by existing so. If she wasn't there, I don't think I would've snapped out of it to save myself.

I would happily be forced to live a good life. I love living off control, it causes me to thrive. I've lived with so much imbalance that I crave either chaos or control. Living with toxic positivity doesn't sound bad at all.

Update with the Minecraft movie sequel concept fanfic I'm planning: I came up with 2 paths I could go down. First path, which I'm calling The Ender Eyes:

this path will focus on developing the end dimension, endermen, and the ender dragon as the new antagonists/hostile environment.

builds more on the new enderman ability for them to mess with the characters heads if they look at them

basic 'call to action': Blocks from the overworld are being stolen, many of the things our characters have built are slowly being picked apart by endermen. deep in the void, an island is being formed. the camera follows an enderman as they put down some more blocks in front of a barren bedrock fountain. a dark shape swoops down from one of the tall obsidian pillars, lighting up the new blocks in a haze of purple, turning the once random assortment into a sickly pale stone material. "soon, the overworld will be made barren, block by block, as we work to rebuild our home."

EXTRA DEVELOPMENT STUFF I THOUGHT FOR THIS PATH:

Enderdragon has a disembodied voice (mouth wont move when they speak), and their voice has a slight sorrow with it.

near the end of the movie, shulkers and enderman will pilot the end ships into battle (idk why, thought it would be coon, kinda like the gast hot-air balloons that the piglins used)

Speaking of the piglens: tensions between our main cast and the remaining piglens (who have all scattered to form separate bastions) will still be pretty high, but in exchange for gold, the main cast can gain information on how to get to the end, plus the location of a fortress for blazerods

Second path doesn't really have a cool name- I'm just calling it the Herobrine path

this path will focus more on a divide within our main cast as everyone is starting to focus on their own things. things might be better now, but the game store still needs to be run and maintained, the zoo also needs maintenance, and building up your own self defence studio from the ground up is not as easy as first thought.

Henry is going to find himself feeling alone again during this as the different people in his life become busier. so, he journeys to the overworld again to try and unwind.

But building only does so much, and most of the villagers are not very conversational. Henry gets an idea.

He tries to code a new friend using the coding skills he has gained from working on Block City Battle Buddies. Someone else for him to build with... that coded in being being Brine (i feel like there could be a joke about Henry misspelling the name- idk)

(ill be honest- i haven't planned out the middle details as much-) but long story short, because of being made of code, Brine doesn't have as much emotional copasity twards the overworld, and starts destroying things for "better efficiency" (examples: large blocked animal farms, the cramped villager trade halls that i know every minecrafter dose at one point or another, flattining the land to make way for bigger builds)

and- that's all i got for that one. idk, lol

anyways yeah! thats the ideas i have so far :)

How The Evergreen Havens works

Explaining for myself and whoever stumbles upon my account. Also so I can just send a link to whoever I want so they can understand what the hell I'm going on about :)

So, Evergreen is a modern-ish fantasy realm I've based on books I've read, movies I've watched, games I've played, and just vibes I thought would be cool.

Here's the map of Evergreen that I am currently working with. (It's a topography map I've made for Minecraft bc I'm building the entire thing in Minecraft lately, will probably post updates on that sometimes, just expect slow progress.)

I'm gonna make every country a separate post because they all have a lot to go on about, but I'll link each of them at the end of this post for convenience.

Here's the worldwide lore: Evergreen is currently in the aftermath of a recent world war, called the Executioner's war. Basically, there was two sides: The Mystic Union, and The Golden Nations. Plus the countries that stayed the hell out of it, but they each had their reasons.

The Mystic Union were upset with the Golden Nations for their unfair treatment of Dragons and Arachnids, whom the Golden Nations view as violent, and tried to seek an agreement to stop the violent treatment towards them. The Golden Nations were upset with the Mystic Union for their use of Soul Energy as their primary energy source, seeing it as primitive and barbaric to use residual energy of once living souls as power, and thus refused to grant them safety on Golden Nations land. After decades of this tension building, Mudrye declared war against Hados and a hundred year war began. There was a lot of death and assassinations, and many prisoners of war were executed, hence the name.

Eventually, around 40 years ago in current times of Evergreen, thanks to changes in leadership over that century, a ceasefire was negotiated and the world has started attempting to heal, despite ever present disdain between the two sides.

Now, a lot has happened in each country as effects of the Executioner's war, so I'll go into that on each country's own post. Speaking of those, I'm going to link them all here. (And by that I mean I'll list them and edit it to be a link when I get around to making those posts lol)

(JN anon) I keep meaning to get to Minecraft, I remember when it first came into existence. Been preoccupied with other games at the time.

I'm aware, I've seen a lot of stuff that came from Super Mario 64, Sonic and Pokemon alone. xD Some unfortunately getting hit by copyright over the years.

I think besides the PC version of the movie, Jet Fusion is also one of the few games where Goddard talked. (Mainly for tutorial reasons.)

Quite a bit of the characters seemed to have a bit weirdness with their eyes in that and in Twonkies. (It's not too distracting though.)

Yup, the GBA versions of the games were their own separate beast too. (Plus, Negatron GBA had more or less the SAME ending as the movie PC game.)

That's from the movie prologue flash game I was talking about before. He's in the Ultra vs the Squirrels game too, when you win.
